I am a former elementary school teacher turned small business owner from northern Virginia. Since leaving the classroom I have started getting in touch with my creative side. love traveling to new places, creating, and learning about all kinds of things! This is a blog about things in my life that bring me joy and focuses on my creative projects and adventures I have along the way, while running my business.
I am blogging to share and document the projects I am accomplishing and the skills I am learning. From using new power tools to filling business taxes, and from traveling to other countries to designing and building my own furniture, I want to share what I’m learning. I focus on sharing the skills I learn, so that others can learn from what I am successful (and not successful!) at.
