Hi! Just a quick post to give another free download that I made for the kiddos that I’m tutoring. This document is a set of number cards 1-10. This Trace, Write, Make: Numbers document is perfect for kiddos learning to recognize the written symbol for each value.

Each card has a space to trace the number with their finger, practice writing the number, and a template for rolled playdough to be formed in the shape of the number. If you don’t have/don’t want to use playdough, you can also have children color it in or find the appropriate magnet/foam number and place it in that space. There is also a space to count the dots, color in the dots, and then form balls of playdough or place other countable items in the spot. You could use pennies, cheerios, etc!

I printed these on both sides, to save some paper, and then laminated them. If you’re looking for a laminator, I love my simple little one. I got the larger version, which came with extra laminating pouches. It makes it so easy to wipe it clean when the kids are done working with it. Plus, you can use a dry erase marker on it, which means the activity is easily repeated! Pro-tip: glue a pom pom to the top of a dry erase marker and now you’ve got an eraser!

Anyways, the link to download is below. These could make a great little activity while you’re prepping dinner or finishing up work. Once they get the hang of it, it should be fairly easy to let them work independently on. Have fun!
